Interface Marketing Manager Earns Prestigious CPSM Certification

All of us at Interface are proud of our colleague, Danielle Sims, who recently earned the prestigious designation of Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). Danielle, Interface’s marketing manager, has been with the company for nearly 10 years and has made a tremendous contribution to our success in the areas of marketing, public relations, and business development.

The CPSM certification is offered through the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), which is an organization that brings together marketing professionals working in architectural, engineering, construction, planning, interior design, and environmental firms.

To become eligible for CPSM certification, Danielle first had to meet the educational and on-the-job experience requirements. She then pledged adherence to a Code of Ethics and endured the first ever SMPS Houston CPSM Bootcamp to prepare for the challenging exam held on November 9, 2010.

For others who may be interested in CPSM certification, the exam covers skills and knowledge in the following areas:

1) Market Research

2) Marketing Plans

3) Client and Business Development

4) SOQs and Proposals

5) Promotional Activity

6) Information, Resource, and Organizational Management

Congratulations to Danielle on this significant achievement.  We know she will continue to grow and advance in her career and in her work at Interface.
