State Bar Golf Tournament Offers ‘Slice’ of Scenic Texas Hill Country

by Chris Sullivan

For the third year in a row, Interface Consulting was a key sponsor of the State Bar of Texas’s Annual Construction Law Conference Golf Tournament at the Texas Hill Country resort, The Westin La Cantera, on March 2, 2011. I had the opportunity along with over 80 golfers from across Texas to enjoy the beautiful sunshine while admiring the breathtaking views at the Resort Course, former site of the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour. As part of our sponsorship, Interface’s Marketing Manager, Danielle Sims, and our Vice President – Commercial Group, Lisa Heard, took team photos with the rolling landscape of the Texas Hill Country as a backdrop.

The Annual Construction Law Conference is one of the premier gatherings of construction attorneys and construction industry professionals in the state of Texas. The Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, a sponsor of the event, focuses on support to the construction industry throughout all project phases, from engineering and design, through construction and the resolution of construction claims and disputes. The conference is a great learning and networking environment, with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits available for attendees.

Learning opportunities at the conference encompass many areas. Unfortunately, how to cure my slice is not one of them.
