Article on Successful Project Management Published in Construction Executive

Philip Barnard, PE, CCE, Interface Consulting senior vice president and a principal consultant, recently published an article highlighting the importance of understanding, effectively scheduling, and monitoring each step of the construction project management process. Mr. Barnard’s article, “Every Step Counts in Successful Project Management,” was featured in the March 2011 issue of Associated Builders and Contractors’ US-distributed magazine, Construction Executive.

In the article, Mr. Barnard emphasizes the step-by-step process of project management and significance of each team member’s contribution. He notes, “Successfully managing a construction project includes a four-step process: the parties must establish a project plan, develop a project schedule, monitor the project schedule and manage change events. Each step requires dedication and commitment from each team member.”
